The department of theatre arts at College of Arts & Letters will host the Tony Award-winning musical, “Pippin,” at the Ronald E. Barnes Theatre from April 26 to May 5.

In this production, audiences will be delighted by a world filled with daring feats, mesmerizing illusions, dazzling choreography and unforgettable melodies! “Pippin” is the tale of a young prince who dreams of taking the throne from his father, King Charlamagne the Great. This enchanting production will take audiences on a magical journey following Pippin as he searches for meaning and fulfillment in life.

With the book by Roger O. Hirson, music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and the direction of Kathryn Ervin, “Pippin” promises an exhilarating journey that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats.

Performance dates and times:

  • April 26, 27, May 2, 3, 4 at 8 p.m.
  • April 28, May 4, May 5 at 2 p.m.

Ticket prices are $6 for students and individuals 17 and under; $12 for faculty, staff, senior citizens and military/first responders; $15 for adults 18-64. Tickets for “Pippin” are available now on the CSUSB Theatre Arts website or by visiting the theatre arts box office on the CSUSB campus.

All performances take place in the Ronald E. Barnes Theatre on the CSUSB campus. Parking at CSUSB is $6

Monday-Friday and $3 on the weekend.
